About our Youth Directors:

Kelly Meacham:

Kelly was born in Marietta, GA and raised in Austell, GA where he involved himself with sports, Boy Scouts and church. Kelly was very involved with his church by serving as a Youth Ambassador for several years, serving on the Presbytery (District) Youth Council and serving on the Synod (Conference) Youth Council. After high school, Kelly attended Maryville College in Maryville, TN where he earned his BA in Psychology/Religion. Upon graduating, Kelly worked as a probation counselor through a mental health agency in Knoxville, TN. There he counseled youth in many different areas including alcohol/drug dependence, career path and family matters.
In 2001, Kelly and his family moved to Covington, GA where he began a commission sales job selling industrial packaging. Kelly joined Scouting as a volunteer when his son joined Cub Scouts and in 2006 took a position as District Executive with the Boy Scouts of America, Atlanta Area Council. Kelly continues to work for the Boy Scouts of America locally.
Kelly has two children. His son, Trystan, attends Trion High School and his daughter, Audrey, attends Trion Middle School. Both children are very active and the family shares a love of music. Kelly has always had a passion for youth work and is inspired by his own experiences as a youth through Scouting and his youth group.
